It starts with evolution

Imagine being dropped in a post-Dotcom-bubble world. With a good memory, you’d quickly remember what stocks to invest in to ensure a vast fortune in the future. From there, you might even try and get ahead of the curve and launch Google / Facebook / Amazon, before the actual founders conceived their ideas. With hindsight/foresight in your favor, you could probably beat them to it, but you’d likely run into many of the same issues they faced, and have to work equally as hard in the early days. AWS for hosting - nope. Stripe for billing - nope. Heck, Stackoverflow for errors - nope. They're coming, but in the meantime, you’ll need to make do without them.

Irrespective of how you choose to spend your time once dropped, you’d be very confident in one thing. They may even call you a contrarian for just how bullish you are about it. This internet thing - it’s going to be huge. Bigger than anyone can ever imagine. You’d color career choices, college degrees, new business ideas, and more with the internet in mind. Whatever chips you have, that’s where you’re placing them. Others will disagree, but you know where the world is headed–and it’s going there quickly!

We are yet to encounter our market bubble bursting, but we’re undoubtedly on that same journey with AI. The landscape is rapidly evolving, and progress is made at a rate we’ve never seen before. Across the market, from small startups to the largest of enterprises, the progress made in the last 12 months has been unimaginable. Moreover, the speed of evolution is only increasing. Miss a week of updates on Twitter/X and you start to fall behind the curve. 

Despite the rate of progress, this evolution path is one we’ve traveled many times. However, our reversion to the trend of the technology adoption curve never seems to change. Just like those that were slow to adopt email and word processors in the early 2000s, those who exist beyond the chasm are again slow to recognize the defining moment of our time.

But that’s not you.

My name is Eoin, and for over half a decade, I've journeyed through the terrains of growth engineering and operations. In that time, iterative improvements have happened in technology, but AI is the first 10x tool of my working life. Right now, creativity is more valuable than iteration as everything powering the growth of businesses is ripe for revolution. Innovators are empowered and there is a buzz back in learning and challenging oneself. 

I've seen firsthand the raw power of what AI can do when it's wielded with expertise and creativity. But more importantly, I've seen the void that exists—a thirst for knowledge on how to harness this power.
